Petmania Tullamore to offer free puppy care classes
Local Pet shop and pet care experts, Petmania Tullamore, are offering new and first-time puppy owners free puppy care classes this weekend.
Over the festive season, many families welcomed a new furry friend into their homes. While it is always exciting to get to know a new pup, this period of time can also prove challenging for many, who can struggle to properly settle their new family member into the home.
This is why the expert in-store team at Petmania Tullamore are reminding puppy owners to register to take part in this free puppy care class. The classes will cover everything new pet-owners need to know about their new charges, with the range of topics including diet and nutrition, grooming, house training, parasite control, exercise and play, socialisation, and basic behaviour training.
What’s more, not only will pet-owners gain this invaluable information which will greatly improve the life of both them and their furry friend, they will also walk away with a free gift bag, worth over €30.
Members of the club have access to knowledge on all aspects of a pup’s health, diet, training, and grooming needs, making it perfect for those pet-owners who wish to continue to nourish their puppy’s growth and development beyond their one-off in-person class.
Emily Miller of Petmania said: ‘Our popular Petmania Puppy Care Classes are up and running again for 2023. These classes are ideal for families that have a new pet and for people who want to talk to our expert pet-loving staff who will answer any questions you may have about your puppy. The classes last about an hour and take place on the second Saturday of the month. Topics covered include exercise, food, grooming, when to see the vet, house training and your puppy’s social behaviour.
This class takes place as part of Petmania Tullamore’s monthly initiative to help new pet-owners manage their pets.
