Tullamore Tidy Towns spring into action with new project

Have you spotted some Tullamore Tidy Towns members out and about over the last number of months on some of Tullamore green spaces with a spade or trowel in hand? Did you wonder what they were doing?

Well, the Tidy Towns have commenced an ambitious project to plant thousands of spring bulbs to add an abundance of colour to the town area in coming months.

This year the group chose a few select areas including Bury Quay, Kilbride Street and Hop Hill and aim to continue planting more areas in the coming years.

If you'd like to help out, why not join the team on one of their work evenings which will commence back as the evenings get brighter.
