Big Doc's Day charity GAA match raises €1,000 for Clara Boys School

On St Stephen's Day 2022 or as it is known locally in Clara as "Big Doc's Day", a charity GAA match was held in Clara GAA pitch to raise funds for local causes and to remember great Clara GAA gael, Donal Rabbette.

Donal was a tremendous supporter of Clara Gaa down through the years. The proceeds of this year's 'Big Doc's Day' of €1200 were donated to Scoil Phroinsias Naofa ( Clara Boys School.)

Donal was a former student of Scoil Phroinsiais Naofa and a great GAA gael in every way. In previous years, he also sponsored two sets of jerseys for Scoil Phroinsias Naofa. The school wishes to thank everyone involved in organising Big Doc's Day and to thank everyone for their very generous donation.
