Offaly comedian wins Celebrity Mastermind

Edenderry man and popular comedian Neil Delamere was recently crowned the winner of Celebrity Mastermind.

Taking to Twitter following the broadcast of the episode last Saturday, Neil said: "This made me very happy, not gonna lie. Bucket list stuff to be on Mastermind. Thanks to the lovely Clive Myrie.

He chose the Vikings as his specialist subject and faced competition from TV presenter Jayne Middlemiss, 2022 BBC Apprentice winner Harpreet Kaur and entrepreneur and TV presenter Amar Latif.

Neil chose the Alheimer’s Society for his charity of choice and also went away with a glass trophy in commemoration of his win.
