Family fun for Easter at Athlone Castle

Athlone Castle is celebrating the Easter holiday with an exciting and fun-filled on-site family event taking place on Easter Saturday, April 8.

Young visitors are invited to take part in an Easter Trail through Athlone Castle Visitor Centre where they will learn fun facts about Irish Easter customs and traditions.

Along the trail, the young ‘eggsplorers’ will find a colouring station where they will even get to design their very own egg as well as several other Easter related activities. On completion of the trail, each child will have an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny in person, take a photo with this very special visitor and receive their ‘eggciting’ Easter Surprise

This event is suitable for children aged four years and over. Pre-booking is required due to limited spaces.
