Two Offaly players make Tailteann Cup 'team of the week'

Two Offaly players were named in the Gaa.ie Tailteann Cup 'team of the week' following the county's nine-point win against London in Tullamore on Sunday.

Half-back Peter Cunningham and corner forward Cian Farrell were both singled out as star performers for the Faithful men as they got their Tailteann Cup campaign off to a winning start.

On social media, Offaly GAA praised the two players, saying: "Peter was rock solid yet again at centre back, as Cian stuck away 2-04 in our win over London at Glenisk O'Connor Park yesterday."

Cian Farrell was also nominated as Tailteann Cup player of the week, and Offaly fans are being encouraged to vote for the Edenderry clubman on the GAA.ie Instagram page before 10am tomorrow (Tuesday):
