PPN aims to build a better future Offaly

Offaly Public Participation Network (PPN) hosted an evening in the Tullamore Town Hall recently, the third, following other events in Birr and Bracknagh. All three were valuable and constructive events.

Topics on the evenings included The Local Economic and Community Plan 2023 – 2028 and opportunities to feed into the Consultation process Offaly Local Economic & Community Plan 2023-2028, the new Climate Action Plan highlighting the upcoming Community funding stream with Environment staff from Offaly County Council, and the upcoming AGM of Offaly Older Persons Council on May 30 in the Tullamore Court from 11am – 4pm. Contact Ciara Sherry Offaly Age Friendly Programme Manager CSherry@offalycoco.ie for more information on that event.

In addition, there was an interactive discussion on funding, volunteers, networking and training which concluded the evening.
