Epic line-up announced for Edenderry Festival

Edenderry Festival will return this weekend with a fantastic live music line-up on the main stage including The Druids, George Murphy, Seamus Moore, The Auld Brigade and more.

There will also be stalls, inflatables, mini games, sweets, a children’s funfair, a boxing showcase and lots of colour and family fun.

Edenderry Festival is set to ignite the stage and captivate audiences with a diverse range of genres. From the explosive energy of rock and roll to the hypnotic beats of traditional Irish music, there's a sonic treat for every music enthusiast.

On Saturday, July 22, Edenderry Festival kicks off at 12.30pm with a Boxing Showcase by St Joseph’s Boxing Club until 2.30pm. At 3pm Elyse Lille takes to the stage followed by Ben and Ian Cully at 3.45pm. The Druids will perform at 4.45pm until 6.15pm, this multi-award winning international folk band is a must for all lovers of Irish song music and history. Radar will play the festival at 6.15pm followed by the brilliant Ed Kenny and his band All the Best at 7pm. Yakity Yak will be on at 7.45pm followed by George Murphy at 8.30pm and Insomnia Nights will rock the stage from 9.30pm to play out the festival on Saturday night.

On Sunday, July 23 the festival will open with Wayne Brereton at 1.30pm followed by The Auld Brigade at 2.30pm. Chelsea Kelly will perform at 3.15pm followed by Mel Fitz at 4pm and Hammer and Tongs at 4.45pm. The legendary Seamus Moore will be onstage at 5.45pm and then playing a full gig in Logan’s Bar with all proceeds going to Edenderry Tidy Towns.

Attendees can enjoy a wide array of delectable food and beverages from food trucks and local vendors. Midlands Radio will be broadcasting live from the Square on Saturday from 11am until 2pm and the organisers are expecting an electric atmosphere at the square.

With live music in pubs throughout the town featuring local and visiting artists and so much more, Edenderry Festival will certainly be the place to be next weekend.
