Offaly Rose to appear on TV tonight

Offaly Rose Allie Leahy will be interviewed tonight on RTÉ One for the first night of the Rose of Tralee International Festival Rose Selection at Munster Technological University.

Allie will appear twelfth in the line-up behind Melbourne Rose Katie Casey.

Offaly was in the national spotlight last week as the glamour of the Rose of Tralee descended on the county for two days this week. The 32 contestants enjoyed a trip to Offaly as part of the Rose tour ahead of the festival.

The RTÉ Rose of Tralee International Festival airs live on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player from 8pm to 9pm and 9:35pm to 11:35pm tonight and Tuesday.
