Crews working to remove fallen trees across Offaly

Offaly County Council staff are currently working to remove fallen trees at a number of locations across Offaly as a result of Storm Debi.

Fallen trees have been reported at the following locations:

Kilooly N52

L6011 Gortnamona School

R421 Cloonagh Bridge

L6030 Garbally

R436 Kilbeggan Road, Clara (BNS).

Meanwhile , the local authority has again reminded members of the public that fallen electricity wires are live and dangerous and have advised them to contact ESB Networks at 1800 372 999 if they come across any fallen electricity wires while out and about this morning. Under no circumstances should members of the public approach a fallen or damaged line.
