Athlone Film Club to present 'War Pony' tonight

Athlone Film Club returns to the Dean Crowe Theatre tonight (Tuesday), December 12, with the award-winning film 'War Pony'.

The film is a story of love and money on a Native American reservation. It follows the lives of two young males, Bill and Matho growing up on the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota.

It is a heartfelt and absorbing story and a deserving winner of the top prize in the Cannes Film Festival's Un Certain Regard. This is an English language film and the running time is 114 minutes.

Doors open at the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone on Tuesday, December 12 at 7.30pm, and the film starts at 8pm.
