Offaly TikTok sensation to perform live show in Tullamore

Offaly man and TikTok star Shane Gallagher aka The Digger Dad will take to the stage for his first full live show in his home county later this year.

The Daingean native lives in Brisbane, Australia with his wife Alyce and son Niall. Shane works in construction and became a TikTok sensation last year with his hugely-popular singing videos in the cab of his digger, which have amassed millions of likes from fans all over the world.

Shane has over 198,000 followers on TikTok and his videos have been liked 2.9 million times. He will perform in The Phoenix Venue, Tullamore on Saturday, June 22.

Taking to social media to announce the homecoming show, the venue said: “TheDiggerDad has amassed a huge following online singing song's, telling stories and we cannot wait to welcome him home and this promises to be a very special night.”

Tickets cost €20 and will go on sale tomorrow morning (Wednesday) at 9am on willwego.com/digger-dad
