Renowned Irish author and cancer survivor Emily Hourican will inaugurate the show which is produced by Eddie Shanahan. All funds raised will be dedicated to supporting ARC Cancer Support Centres who offer vital psychological, emotional, practical, and educational assistance to individuals of all ages affected by cancer and their caregivers.

Hazel, who is based in Shinrone, describes herself as a visual artist and textile designer - a painter who creates silk scarves. She takes her paintings and uses them to create a design, which she then prints onto silk. Awarded Accessory Designer of the Year in 2015 at the Irish Fashion Innovation Awards, Hazel creates representational images of both figurative and landscape subjects and abstracts those images in the design process. All her pieces are hand finished to the highest quality with rolled edges.

A hugely popular segment of the show is The ARC Angels sequence, and this year will see four ARC service users join the professional models on the runway to showcase eight exquisite millinery creations, inspired by the elements: EARTH, AIR, FIRE, and WATER. These show stopping pieces are created by Irish milliners including Aura, Leonora Ferguson, Aoife Harrison, Aoife Kirwan, Wendy Louise Knight, Ailish McElroy, Emily Jean O'Byrne, Siobhan Daly and each will wear dresses designed by Róisín Dockry.

Colour and vibrancy are the hallmark of Hazel Green's silk scarves.

Dee Grant, CEO, ARC Cancer Support Centres, says, “With an audience of 900 people in attendance, The ARC Fashion Show has become a firm favorite among the Irish public and a must-see fixture in calendars across Ireland. With the proceeds raised from the event, it means that ARC can be there for men, women and children affected by cancer and those who care for them. It means that we can be there for them every step of the way for as long as they need us. All of our services at ARC are provided completely free of charge.”
