Bottle banks removed due to continuous dumping

Bottle banks at Daingean Road car park in Tullamore have been removed (January 16) due to what the council described as "continuous illegal dumping" at the site.

The local authority has advised the public to use the bottle and can banks at Tescos/Kilbride Plaza (Bury Quay)/Derryclure instead.

The council has appealed to people not to leave any materials at the Daingean Road location going forward as this is a littering offence.
