Offaly County Council hosting local funding roadshows

Offaly Public Participation Network (PPN) and Offaly County Council are currently running a number of Community Funding Roadshows in Offaly to highlight and provide information to community groups on a number of funding opportunities which are available at the moment and over the coming months.

The first event took place in Edenderry Library on Wednesday evening last. Staff from relevant Council sections were in attendance providing one to one information to a range of community groups from the wider Edenderry Municipal District area.

The range of funding information provided included:-

· Local Enhancement Programme 2024

· Community Climate Action Programme

· Creative Ireland Community Project

· Biodiversity workshops

· Heritage

· EU Just Transition Fund Tourism Scheme

· Public Amenities/ Playgrounds

· Town & Village Renewal

A further two Roadshow events will take place on: Thursday, February 15 at Tullamore Municipal District Offices from 6pm – 7.30pm and Wednesday, February 21 at The Atrium in Birr Library from 6.00pm – 7.30pm
