Ashling Murphy charity nominated for community funding

The Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund has been shortlisted for the Permanent TSB Community Fund, and is appealing to members of the public to cast their votes to ensure they are selected as one of the six community fund partners for 2024.

The memorial fund is among 15 charities nominated overall, with the six finalists due to share in a fund of over €200,000. The funding would allow the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund support their main aim to continue keeping Ashling’s name and legacy alive by supporting the enhancement and development of various areas within the traditional Irish arts, culture and heritage.

Every vote counts, and the memorial fund appreciate each one. Votes can be cast from multiple devices, including personal phone, work phone, laptop, work desktop, iPad, Tablet etc.

The fund has asked people to share the word about voting via WhatsApp groups, on social media, within the workplace, sporting groups and among family and friends.

Voting closes on Friday February 23 next at 6pm, with the new community fund partners to be announced shortly thereafter.

The Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund has offered a special word of thanks to the kind staff in the Tullamore branch for nominating them and selecting the memorial fund as their staff charity of choice.

PTSB customers are welcome to visit their branch over the next fortnight to seek support in voting.
