Nine people arrested in Laois/Offaly for driving under the influence over Easter

Laois/Offaly Gardaí arrested nine people for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs over the Easter period, it's been revealed.

A post on the Garda Síochána Laois Offaly Facebook page on Bank Holiday Monday, said nine people have been detained so far for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs despite all the advance warnings provided as part of this Bank Holiday nationwide campaign.

Court appearances are scheduled for April.
