Offaly beauty salon wins two prestigious awards

Cheveux Hair Salon Tullamore scooped the Leinster Hair Salon of the Year award and the Best Educator award at the Hi Style Passoa Hair and Beauty Awards recently.

Owner and acclaimed colourist, Ann-Marie Comerford, said that winning the title of Leinster Hair Salon of the Year “was a moment of pure pride” for her as a salon owner.

She continued: “It was a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of my team and myself in creating a salon and hair loss and scalp clinic that embodies excellence in the hair industry. The recognition not only validated our efforts but also fuelled our passion to continue delivering exceptional services to our clients in the future.”

Resident trichologist at the salon, Michelle Christle, also took home the award for Best Educator. Speaking about the win, Ms Christle said: “I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude when I found out that I had won the award for Best Educator of the Year. It was a surreal moment of validation for all the hard work and dedication I have put into my role as an educator.

I felt incredibly honoured to be recognized for my contributions to the field of hair and trichology education. Winning this award has motivated me to continue striving for excellence in my teaching and to inspire and empower more stylists in the future."

Hi Style.ie is Ireland's leading social, business and wedding diary and the annual Hi Style awards help to recognise and honour Ireland’s most stylish businesses.

The Hi Style awards ceremony was held in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cork on Sunday, March 24.

The hair salon in Tullamore employs 20 people and they provide a variety of services such as cutting, styling hair for weddings and occasions, hair extensions, colouring and hair treatments.

Cheveux is one of few salons in Ireland which has an accredited trichologist on site who is an expert in scalp conditions and hair loss.

The successful Tullamore hair salon was established by Ann-Marie in 2011.
