Gardai tell motorists to avoid Offaly road after communications line comes down
Gardai have issued a road traffic alert after an incident in which a communications line came down on a road in Offaly this morning (Thursday).
The details issued by the Gardai stated than an Eir line was down at Scrubb Cross on Clonaslee Road.
The fire service and Gardai attended the scene, and motorists are being asked to avoid the area for the time being.
UPDATE: The road reopened later this morning.
