Clara native Elizabeth Fleming was awarded Most Stylish Lady at The Curragh Racecourse on Saturday, September 28.
The Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore worker and Classy And Elegant stylist walked away with a beautiful pendant worth €2,500 from Weir & Co.
Speaking to the Offaly Independent about her win, Elizabeth said it was a sentimental moment.
"There's a lot of connections for me," Elizabeth said. "I got engaged in Weir & Co. in 1995 on Valentine's Day.
"My two nephews started their racing careers in The Curragh. I'm chuffed, I'm overwhelmed but I'm so happy."
Elizabeth said she loves going to the races, and attends around eight races all over the country throughout the year.
"I love the races! I eat sleep, and breathe it," she said. The Clara woman also eats and sleeps fashion.
She opened her own fashion business Classy And Elegant in her home town, and now runs two studios out of her home.
"I've been involved in fashion my whole life. I style ladies from head to toe for their events.
"I work during the day in Classy And Elegant, and then I work nights full-time in the hospital."
