Drop-in event to help shape Esker Arts programme in Tullamore
Esker Arts Centre in Tullamore is inviting the local community to a drop-in event in its foyer on Saturday, March 22, from 2pm to 5pm.
This is an opportunity for the public to have their say in shaping the Esker Arts Visual Arts Programme for 2026.
Esker Arts has two large gallery spaces across two floors in the centre, which accommodate a wide variety of contemporary art exhibitions and events.
As it continues to develop its programming, the centre would love to hear from you. What kind of exhibitions and art do you enjoy? What would you like to see more of at Esker Arts? How can the centre best serve the artistic and cultural needs of Tullamore and beyond?
This drop-in session is part of a research project led by practitioners Rachel Botha, Husk Bennett, and Leah Corbett.
Their project seeks to gather insights into the local arts scene and public engagement with the arts in the Midlands
People are invited to join the researchers for a chat and a cuppa on March 22, and help shape the future of Esker Arts. The voice of the public matters in ensuring that the centre continues to provide space, resources, and opportunities for artistic and creative engagement.
