Offaly minor footballers hoping to seal provincial final spot

The tantalising prospect of securing a place in this year's Leinster minor football championship final awaits Offaly this evening as they play host to Kildare in a semi-final tie in Glenisk O'Connor Park Tullamore (throw-in, 6.30pm).

In advance of this evening's semi-final encounter, team manager Roger Ryan has named his starting team ahead of this season defining fixture at which a large home supported is expected to attend.

In what was a resilient quarter-final victory over Meath, a late goal from Offaly substitute Paddy Burns proved decisive as the Faithful County defeated the Royal County to progress to this evening's final four fixture.
