Students from Oaklands Community College made waves at the recent LOETB STEAM Showcase, where they picked up the award for Best Video Showcasing STEAM.

The STEAM Showcase was held in Banagher College, where innovation, creativity, and collaboration were on full display.

The event brought together students from many LOETB schools to explore the worlds of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on projects and dynamic presentations.

Oaklands CC was proudly represented in both the Podcasting and Robotics categories, where students showcased their problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work as a team.

Oaklands TY students were delighted to be announced as winners of the Best Video Showcasing STEAM, a recognition of their effort to capture the excitement and educational value of the STEAM disciplines.

The school this week congratulated all students involved and teachers Ms N. Murray, Ms S. Dalton and Mr S. Creevy.
