Tourism businesses urged to seek EU Transition Fund information
Offaly businesses with tourism concepts are being encouraged to explore potential avenues for development and funding.
Support is still available to businesses who have missed out on applying for funding under the EU Just Transition Tourism Fund.
Mary Hensey, EU Just Transition Tourism Activator for County Offaly, has called on businesses looking for guidance on might be available to seek the necessary support.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone with a tourism-related idea or ambition who may need some support to take the next step.
“You don’t need to navigate it alone. I can offer advice, connect you with relevant experts, and help you explore the potential avenues for development and funding," Mary said.
Supported by the EU Just Transition Fund Regenerative Tourism & Placemaking Scheme 2023-2026, Mary is available to meet with individuals, businesses, and community groups to provide one-on-one guidance, offer pointers on business development, and help identify suitable supports and partnerships.
