Tullamore Garda Station to host Open Day on Saturday

Members of An Garda Siochána in Tullamore have issued an open invitation to members of the public to come and join them this Saturday, May 17, when they will host an Open Day in the local station.

Proceedings get underway at 11am with a Sensory Hour which concludes at 12 noon. All are welcome to attend the Open Day from 12 noon until 2pm, and among the highlights of what promises to be an action packed day are:

* Garda Mounted Unit

* Garda Dog Unit

* Armed Support Unit

* Public Order Unit

* Roads Policing Unit

* Scenes of Crime

* Fire Brigade

* Ambulance Service

* Civil Defence team

The Open Day offers members of the public a unique opportunity to engage with the local and national units of An Garda Siochána, and to meet with local personnel in Tullamore Station.
