Offaly name team to contest Leinster minor football final

Offaly minor football manager Roger Ryan has named his starting team for tonight's Leinster football final against Louth in St Conleth's Park Newbridge (throw-in, 7.30pm).

Offaly travel to the County Kildare venue hoping to quash Louth's aspirations, the Wee County seeking to complete a 'treble' of provincial victories, having already attained the senior and U20 titles.

Having narrowly defeated Kildare at the semi-final stage of this year's competition, Ryan is hoping that a large Faithful support travels to Newbridge tonight and spur on his charges to victory.

“To see clubs going to the lengths they are to make sure that we aren’t outnumbered by Louth in Newbridge is fantastic, and I can’t thank the clubs, and the people of Offaly enough. Every voice that’s there on Monday night will make a difference, and hopefully it’ll carry us over the line,” Ryan said.
