Offaly’s new barbecue centre opens its showroom in Killeigh

A brand-new family-run barbecue and garden furniture business has opened in Killeigh, next to Glenisk.

Fresh to the market in Offaly, the specialist store opened its doors at the beginning of May as the Midlands location for the 'A Room Outside' franchise.

"We got the opportunity in January to join the 'A Room Outside' franchise, who have their first location in Limerick," said proprietor Gareth Cleary. The business is also online at the website Gareth's Garden Furniture (garethsgardenfurniture.ie).

"Myself and my father have always had an interest in barbecuing and garden furniture, and there was no shop like it in our area, so we thought we could fill that gap in the market," said Gareth.

The full product range includes kids’ playhouses, garden furniture, swings, chairs, benches, and picnic tables, with the business specialising in complete garden furniture packages for residential or commercial projects.

A range of saunas, hot tubs, and barbecues are available, and the business will soon offer a selection of outdoor hot tubs.

A Room Outside's Midlands showroom offers its customers the option of finance with the help of Tullamore Credit Union.

In a special offer running until May 31, the business will provide fuel alongside every barbecue sold.

"We're providing a free gas cylinder with all gas grills, a free bag of charcoal and lighters with charcoal-fired grills, and a free bag of pellets for the pellet grills," said Gareth.
