Tullamore College duo perform at twinning anniversary in France

Tullamore College students Caoimhe and Saoirse Garry recently travelled to France with their teachers and fellow dancers from the Burbage Irish Dance Academy.

The talented students took part in a series of events organised by Castlecomer-Penvénan Twinning, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the partnership between the two towns.

The celebration event also featured an Irish Evening Meal, as well as Irish musicians.

Tullamore College shared their support for the duo, saying: "Well done to Caoimhe and Saoirse for proudly representing Ireland on the international stage and showcasing their dancing talent abroad."

The Penvénan Castlecomer Twinning Committee is the association dedicated to promoting Irish culture in Penvénan and organizing all types of exchanges with the town of Castlecomer in Ireland.

Previous events included sports exchanges (judo, football, athletics, cycling) and cultural exchanges (photography, paintings, books).
