Sacred Heart School honoured for excellence in online safety campaign

Sacred Heart School Tullamore have been honoured with a 'Highly Commended' award in the Best Overall Campaign (post-primary) category at the Webwise Safer Internet Day (SID) Awards 2025.

This accolade acknowledges the school's outstanding efforts in promoting online safety and digital citizenship within their school community.

The SID Awards celebrate the work being done by students and schools across Ireland to encourage safe, responsible, and positive use of the internet and digital technologies as part of Safer Internet Day.

The school's campaign stood out for its creativity, impact, and strong peer engagement. Additionally, students from the school, Maryam Aater and Hannah Parker-Kelly, were 'Highly Commended' in the SID Ambassador Leadership Award category, recognising their leadership and commitment to fostering a safer online environment.
