Walk to raise funds for Offaly Down Syndrome

Lough Boora Parklands is the location for a charity walk later this month which has been organised to raise funds for Offaly Down Syndrome Association.

The walk, which is the annual fundraiser by Roscrea Trail Blazers, takes place on Saturday, June 28 next, and those taking part can choose from two different walks, depending on age and fitness levels. The first route (A) is a 9km walk, while Route B is a 5km Fairy Walk.

The charity walk, which costs €20 for adults, with free entry for children, is open to everyone regardless of fitness level. It will be followed by afternoon tea in Dan & Molly's in Ballyboy with a quiz, raffle, music and dancing.
