Tullamore College students' "unforgettable" scientific trip to Paris

Tullamore College students recently embarked on an unforgettable three-day science-themed trip to Paris.

A total of 58 students set off to France on Thursday, May 8, for the educational adventure.

The trip began with a visit to a planetarium, followed by a climb to the second level of the iconic Eiffel Tower, where students were treated to breathtaking 360-degree views of the city.

Day two was packed with learning and discovery, as the group explored the Air and Space Museum and the National History Museum. They also enjoyed a guided tour of Paris, taking in the capital’s most famous sights and landmarks.

On the final day, students visited the Exploradome, an interactive science centre, before squeezing in a quick shopping stop at Aeroville Shopping Centre.

A particularly special moment on the trip was being flown to Paris by one of Tullamore College's own, Captain Lorna Coll, a parent in the school community.

The school extends their sincere thanks to Ms Howlin for planning and organising this incredible experience, and to the staff who accompanied the group: Ms Burke, Ms Flynn, Mr Doolan, and Ms Connell.
