Offaly to play Kildare in Tailteann Cup quarter-final
Offaly have been drawn to play Kildare in the quarter-final of the Tailteann Cup.
As Group 1 winners, Kildare will have home advantage for the fixture which will be played in Newbridge this weekend (details tbc).
This will be third occasion that both counties will meet competitively this year, the Faithful County gaining the upperhand on the two previous occasions, most notably when winning the Allianz National League Division 3 title in Croke Park in March.
Offaly enjoyed a comprehensive win over New York on Saturday afternoon when defeating their Stateside opponents by 13 points, goals from Dylan Hyland and Ruairí McNamee proving pivotal to the victor's success as the Faithful County's Tailteann Cup quest continues.
