Local Fianna Fáil members visit European Parliament in Brussels

Over 40 members of Fianna Fáil representing local businesses and the farming community in Offaly recently visited the European Parliament in Brussels as guests of Midlands North-West MEP Barry Cowen.

The schedule included a visit to the Hemicycle, the debating chamber in the European Parliament and a tour of the visitor centre, the Parlamentarium.

An in-depth discussion, followed by a question and answer session was also conducted my MEP Cowen.

The trip was regarded to be highly successful providing a most valued opportunity to visit the European Parliament and was well received by all those who attended.
