Gardai offer to mark property items in Tullamore and Birr areas later this week
Members of the public will have the opportunity to have their small property items marked when the An Garda Síocháná Community Policing Vehicle visits a number of locations across Offaly later this week.
Property marking is a proven deterrent to theft and can assist greatly with recovery of personal property in the event of a loss. It is one of the services being offered during the visit of the Community Policing Vehicle to the Birr and Tullamore areas this Thursday and Friday, June 26 and 27.
Among the items which can be marked by members of An Garda Síocháná are tools, gardening equipment and electronic devices.
If members of the public wish to discuss a property marking event in their own local area, they are welcome to speak to officers at the below locations. They will be happy to arrange a future date to deliver this service locally.
