Joni Mitchell tribute show to perform at Esker Arts Centre

‘Hejira’, a seven-piece band which celebrates the masterpiece works of singer/songwriter Joni Mitchell, will play the Esker Arts Centre in Tullamore, on Saturday, September 6.

Comprising highly experienced, world class musicians, this band is fronted by Hattie Whitehead who not only has, in her own way, assimilated the poise, power and beauty of Joni’s vocals, but also plays guitar with Joni’s stylistic mannerisms.

In particular, the band performs the songs that Mitchell captured on her live 1980 album, ‘Shadows and Light’.

Expect an evening of the great songs from Mitchell’s back catalogue, such as ‘Amelia’, ‘Woodstock’, 'A Case Of You’, ’Song For Sharon’ and 'Free Man in Paris’.

Tickets, priced €25 (plus booking fee), are available at the following link
