Offaly adorable pooches earn Nose of Tralee semi-final spot

Three Offaly dogs have made their owners paw-sitively proud as they earned their place at the Nose of Tralee semi-finals.

Faithful pooches Bailey, Pugba, and Casper have put on a fetching display as they won the hearts of the public to secure their spot.

Casper is three months old and is growing quickly. He may, we suspect, be a Polar Bear. He is determined to be the 2025 Nose of Tralee, anything is paw-sible… he doesn’t want to be a pound dog. He’d love the pup-arazzi.

With Pugba, there’s never a dull moment. He will sit and pose for the camera, he’s not fussy with treats, and loves to share his treats with his doggy friends. His owner think he will a good candidate as he’s also great with all ages too. He brings so much joy to his family and always puts a smile on their faces.

Bailey is a 7 month old heart-stealer in fur. Her free kisses bandana isn’t just a fashion statement – it’s a promise! Bailey may be shy but once she warms to you, she manages to sneak into your heart and tends to stay there fur-ever.

Judges will decide which pet will represent each of the 32 Counties. And then go on to compete for the overall title of Nose of Tralee 2025.

Each pet will be judged based on: Number of Public Votes (33% of score); Quality, cuteness and uniqueness of photo (33% of score); Written entry (33% of score).

The pet with the most points will go through to the final.

It is hoped that the final 32 Noses will be announced around July 9, with voting starting again on July 24 once everyone has taken their finalist photo.
