Car stopped by Gardai had 'more DIY than B&Q'

Gardai in the Midlands have revealed how a vehicle stopped this week was found to have a screwdriver instead of a gear stick.

The incident happened on Wednesday when the Road Policing Unit stopped the vehicle, which Gardai said was being driven without insurance.

They then discovered that the gear stick had been replaced with a screwdriver.
