Offaly's Belmont Anglers to host open fishing competition

The Belmont Anglers group in Offaly is holding an open fishing competition on the Grand Canal at Shannon Harbour later this month.

The competition is taking place on Sunday, July 27.

Participants are being asked to meet up at 12.30pm for registration and draw, with fishing taking place from 2pm to 6pm.

The entry fee is €10 for seniors and €5 for juniors.

All are welcome to participate, but booking is essential.
