O'Brien represents Offaly at commemoration day event

The Leas Cathaoirleach of Offaly County Council, Sean O'Brien, represented the local authority at a National Day of Commemoration regional event held in Kilkenny earlier this month.

The Independent Tullamore councillor was in attendance at the gathering in Kilkenny Castle on July 13, where he was joined by a number of other regional council representatives.

The National Day of Commemoration honours all Irish men and women who died in past wars or on military service with the United Nations and other International organisations in the service of peace.
