Two Offaly pharmacies make list of Top 100 Irish stores
Two branches of Ryan's Pharmacy in Offaly have been named among the Top 100 stores in the country in the 2025 Retail Excellence Ireland awards.
The two branches of the pharmacy group are located in Rhode and Daingean.
The Top 100 stores are part of the Elavon Retail Excellence Awards, which were established in 1997 to promote best practice and encourage high standards in the Irish retail industry.
Jean McCabe, CEO of Retail Excellence, said the businesses which have been named in the Top 100 finalists for the national retailer of the year award 2025 exemplify retail excellence through “outstanding service, performance, and innovation” at a national level. He added that their commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and embracing new ideas continues to “raise the standard for the entire industry” particularly at a time when retail is evolving rapidly in response to shifting consumer behaviours, economic pressures, and digital transformation.
Ryan’s Pharmacy is a community-focused pharmacy group which was established by Shane Ryan in 1996 to serve the people of Kildare and Offaly. Their mission is to provide “exceptional healthcare services and products” to their valued patients and customers and they have five branches across the two counties.
The Retail Excellence Ireland national awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 15 next at the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.
