Edenderry boxing club named among finalists in National Lottery Good Causes Awards

Edenderry based St Brigid's Boxing Club have been named as the sports finalist for the National Lottery Good Causes Awards.

The club joins eight organisations from Leinster were today announced as National Finalists in the National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2025.

The club took to social media to share their gratitude for the award.

"We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected as the County Finalist in the Sports Category of the National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2025!

"Thanks to the incredible support of the The National Lottery, we’ve been recognised for the positive impact we’re making & have the chance to be selected as a National Finalist in the Good Causes Awards over the coming weeks!"

These awards, now in their seventh year, aim to honour, showcase and celebrate the inspiring work being carried out nationwide by thousands of projects, clubs and individuals who have received support from Good Causes funding. Nearly 30 cents of every euro spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes all over the country.

Announcing the National Finalists, National Lottery CEO, Cian Murphy, said: “It’s a privilege to unveil and celebrate this year’s National Finalists in the Good Causes Awards.
