Young Tullamore entrepreneurs make donation to Dochas

Community spirit was well and truly alive in the offices of Dochas Offaly Cancer Support this week when four local schoolchildren dropped in to donate the proceeds of a little shop they set up on Davitt Street in Tullamore for the summer!

The four young entrepreneurs, Méabh Boyce, Sinéad Murray, Dónal Murray and Niall Grehan donated €130 to Dochas, the proceeds of their 'bits and bobs' shop where they sold a range of items they made themselves, including bracelets, lucky bags, sweets and fairy jars.

Staff from Dochas were bowled over by the generosity of the fabulous four, and said it was "a joy" to welcome them into the Centre this week and to hear all about their ventures and to thank them for being "so kind and thoughtful."

The money raised will go towards helping so many people in Tullamore and Dochas has congratulated Méabh, Sinead, Dónal and Niall on their wonderful gesture and said they should be "very proud of their efforts."
