Two Mayo GAA stars meet with young players from Offaly club

Two of the top players on the Mayo senior football team met some up-and-coming stars from Offaly's St Manchan's Gaels football club this week.

Aidan O'Shea and Mattie Ruane met and posed for a picture with the Offaly group after a training session yesterday (Wednesday) evening.

St Manchan's provides underage football from U12s to U20s for Ballycumber, Erin Rovers, Doon and Tubber.

Posting on social media about their players' encounter with O'Shea and Ruane, both of whom play for the Breaffy club, St Manchan's said: "The club wishes to sincerely thank Mayo senior players Aidan O'Shea and Matthew Ruane for meeting with our young St Manchan's players following training this evening.

"Their time and encouragement mean a great deal to our future stars."
