Clara Town FC to host concert fundraiser

Clara Town FC is set to host an indoor fundraising concert later this month.

The event will take place at Stanley O'Hara Park in Clara on Sunday, September 21, starting from 12 noon.

The club stated that all money raised at the concert will go towards its new all-weather astro turf pitch, which it hopes to have finished in the next 4-6 weeks.

The concert will feature a wide array of acts including John Molloy, Fourmost, Jack Rabbitte, Danny McCormack, Nathan and Billy Meehan, Mark Murphy, Stephen Rosney, Derek Feery, Joe Rabbitte, Jo Jo Bracken, Tommy Scanlon, Trevor Kavanagh, Ever After, Alex O'Connor and Darragh Jordon, Adrian O'Reilly, and many more. The musicians are donating their time and will play for 20-30 minutes each.

A full bar and food selection will also be available on the day. Free transport will be provided from the town square.

Tickets are priced at €10 each, with Under-16s going free.
