Tullamore Library to host Mini Con extravaganza
A vibrant celebration of pop culture, creativity and community spirit will take place in Tullamore Library this Saturday, September 13, from 10am to 4pm.
With the theme of ‘Heroes and Villains’, Offaly Libraries Mini Con will welcome fans of all ages to immerse themselves in a world of fantasy and fun.
Tullamore Library will be transformed into an exciting Comic Con atmosphere, featuring creative workshops with Seán Hogan and Val Nolan; a comic corner, as well as interactive robotics, craft and virtual reality zones.
There will also be areas dedicated to playing board games; Pokémon card trading; face painting and balloon modelling; gaming and a cosplay competition where all are encouraged to dress up and join the fun.
Field archaeologist and heritage specialist Dave Swift will present his display of all things viking and talk tales of Brian Boru vs Brodir!
In addition to innovative workshops and creative activities, Offaly Libraries Mini Con 2025 continues its mission to foster imagination and learning through play, storytelling, and community engagement.
Whether you're a seasoned cosplayer, a curious newcomer, or a family looking for a fun day out, Offaly Libraries Mini Con 2025 promises something for everyone.
Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend. Further details can be found here.
