Tullamore actor starring in major new US crime drama series

Tullamore's Sam Keeley is one of the stars of the new US crime drama television mini-series 'Task', currently showing on the Max and NOW streaming platforms.

Keeley, renowned for his role in the gangland war themed Irish series 'Kin', plays the part of Jayson, a volatile member of the Dark Hearts biker gang.

Keeley brings a foreboding presence to his on-screen character, with his sights set on the unknown assailant who has stolen from him.

Keeley stars opposite Hollywood royalty Mark Ruffalo who plays the role of an FBI agent put in charge of a task force to end a string of violent robberies undertaken by an unassuming family man.

An intriguing plot is in its infant stages with two of a seven episode series now available for viewers to watch.

The series has scored a 90% rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website, which collects and compiles reviews for movies and TV shows from professional critics.
