Six Offaly players named on camogie soaring stars team

Six Offaly players have been announced as recipients of the 2025 PwC Camogie Soaring Stars awards.

The selections are due recognition of the players' contribution during Offaly's All-Ireland intermediate hurling campaign which culminated in All-Ireland success when they defeated Kerry in Croke Park to claim the prized silverware.

Defenders Sharon Shanahan (Shinrone), Amy Byrne (Shinrone), Orlagh Phelan (Naomh Bríd), centrefielder Clodagh Leahy (Drumcullen) and forwards Grace Teehan (Naomh Bríd) and Mairead Teehan (Moneygall) have been rewarded for their playing heroics during the championship season.

Both Grace Teehan and team captain Orlagh Phelan are two of the three players nominated for the 2025 PwC GPA Camogie Intermediate Player of the Year.

The third player nominated is Kerry's Patrice Diggin and the winner will be announced at the PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards in Croke Park on Saturday, November 15.
