Offaly landowners reminded of responsibility for trees amid Storm Amy
Offaly County Council has issued a reminder to landowners about their responsibility over trees on their land amid Storm Amy.
A yellow wind warning is currently in place across the country until midnight, with ttrong to near gale force and gusty southwesterly winds expected.
Potential impacts include difficult travelling conditions; Debris and loose objects being displaced; and the possibility of some fallen trees.
Owners or occupiers of land must take all reasonable steps to ensure that trees or other vegetation on their land are not a hazard to persons using a public road.
