Offaly comedian set for '2 Johnnies' TV appearance

Edenderry comedian Neil Delamere, who is embarking on a nationwide tour with his latest show Reinventing the Neil - will be among the guests on the second episode of The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In when it airs tonight (Thursday) on RTÉ 2.

Delamere will be performing in his home county on his current tour, with his show coming to the Tullamore Court Hotel on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Tonight he joins Johnny B and Johnny Smacks for the 'lock-in' show, where he gets the chance to lift the Liam MacCarthy Cup and recalls taking a wrong turn and accidentally being the 'lead car' in a stranger’s funeral while on tour in England.

Delamere also he lifts the lid on life at home with his three-legged dog, Lola the lurcher.

Other guests on tonight's programme include boxer Michael Conlon, TV presenter Muireann O’Connell and musician Sharon Shannon.

The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In airs tonight on RTÉ 2 and the RTÉ Player at 9:35pm.
