Offaly hurlers to host three championship fixtures in 2026

The Offaly senior hurling team will commence their 2026 Leinster senior championship campaign with a home fixture against Dublin.

Having secured Liam MacCarthy status for 2026 following victory over Antrim in their final round robin fixture in May, the Faithful County will host the Metropolitans at Glenisk O'Connor Park, Tullamore on the weekend of April 18/19 as they start their provincial journey.

Offaly will then journey west to play Galway in Pearse Stadium the following weekend (April 25/26) before hosting reigning Leinster champions Kilkenny on the weekend of May 9/10.

Glenisk O'Connor Park will also be the venue on the weekend of May 16/17 when Johnny Kelly's charges play Wexford, before Offaly complete their run of round robin championship fixtures against Joe McDonagh champions Kildare.

The Faithful County's fifth Leinster championship fixture will take place in St Conleth's Park, Newbridge on the weekend of May 23/24.

The top two teams in the round robin league format will advance to the Leinster final with the county finishing in third position will progress to the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final stage.
